| The truth about crows...
The crow is probably one of the most misunderstood birds on
the planet!
It lives almost everywhere on the planet. In the bird world, just
like in the world of music, and life. You either migrate, adapt
to your environment, or become extinct. The crow lives in the city
and the field. It has adapted beautifully. It is a tough, rugged
little survivor! It is Urban >laugh out loud<It will eat a
Big mac, fries, whatever you throw in your garbage. It will beg,
steal, scavenge, and even kill to eat.It is highly resourceful.
Crows are commonly depicted as evil. That is so jacked up, and
untrue! Routinely ,several crows will stand on the power lines and
trees outside my window and caw in unison to wake me up. Begging
for scraps of wheat bread. Alot of times I will get up and throw
it to them. Only to watch them all leave, and a myriad of different
types of birds descend on the bread. It takes a lot of perseverence
to wake me up! They did all that and then took none!{and yes my
neighbors hate that I feed the birds>laugh out loud}I watch them
save their bread, and they will come the next day and beg for the
Robins, Blue Jays, Woodpeckers, Sparrows, & many other birdies.
Laugh out loud. "birdies" every once in a while they make
this beautiful sound I can't describe it accurately, but it's kinda
like a peacock fused with a cats purr. Anyway, when they make that
call, I know my rare friend, who only visits a few times a year
, the sea gull is here. Awaiting his share of bread. At 1st the
crows would call, and then I wouldn't see the seagull until I threw
the bread. Now every once in a while the seagull will come alone,
and beg for himself>Laugh out loud. They will call and then a
tribe of baby squirrels will come out of the trees, and the crows
leave. They share food, and look out for other animals. Is that
evil? Try to remember that the next time you see a few of them tearing
at rotting roadkill....laugh out loud...try to remember that the
next time they are fighting one another for it. Look!only a creature
whose interesting can make me stop working on music, and go look
out the window! They be all up in my mix, coming through the headphones,
that's how they got into some of my songs. Yes, I recorded and then
sampled some crow sounds, and NO, laugh out loud,, I am not on drugs!
I'm just a true electronic musician.
